Two friends in their twenties, one very soft obsession. This is how a plush company becomes a love letter.
It started with too many plushies.
Willow Plush started the way most good things do — two young people in their twenties, up late, surrounded by the plushies we never grew out of. We grew up loving animals (the real and the stuffed), and the more we looked at what the big toy aisles were selling, the less any of it looked like the kind of friend you’d keep for a lifetime.
So we bought wool-chenille, thread, and a second-hand tufting gun. We stitched one rabbit on a Tuesday. Then a fox, then a bear. Our friends asked where to buy them. Willow Plush is what happened next.
What we believe — by the numbers.
Slowly, by two hands.
Every Willow starts as a sketch and ends with a signed tag. In between, four small rituals — done the old way, on purpose.
Sketch & pattern
Every companion begins as a pencil sketch. We cut patterns by hand, one at a time, on the same table we eat dinner on.
Tuft & shape
Wool-chenille is tufted onto organic cotton backing, then carved by hand until the little face appears.
Stitch & weight
Seams are reinforced with cotton thread, paws weighted with glass beads so they sit just right in your lap.
Sign & send
We sign the tag, wrap the plush in unbleached muslin, tuck in a handwritten note, and send it on its way.

We answer every email, sign every tag, and pack every box ourselves. There is no warehouse — just our studio, a lot of thread, and one very good dog.
