Slowly made, softly kept

Care guide

A few small rituals to keep your Willow soft, clean, and loved for a lifetime.

A plush is a long conversation

Ours are made to outlast a childhood — or a couple of them. With a little gentleness, your Willow will soften beautifully and keep every memory tucked into its stitches.

Spot clean first

For crumbs, drool, and everyday adventures, a damp cloth with a drop of mild soap does the job. Blot, don't scrub.

Brush the coat

Use a soft baby brush or pet slicker to fluff matted fur. A minute a month keeps the texture silky.

Air out monthly

A few hours of indirect sunlight freshens fibers and keeps things snuggle-ready. Avoid direct UV — it fades color.

Always air dry

After any wash, press out water gently and lay flat on a towel. Never tumble dry — heat breaks down the fill.

Store gently

If you need to put one away, use a breathable cotton bag. Plastic traps moisture and flattens the stuffing.

Let them rest

If your little one has more than one, rotate favorites every few weeks. It keeps each plush plump and evenly loved.

Do

  • Wash in cold water, inside a mesh laundry bag, on the delicate cycle
  • Use mild, fragrance-free detergent (Dreft, Seventh Gen, or unscented Woolite)
  • Press out water gently and air dry flat on a towel
  • Brush fur while damp to keep the coat soft and even

Don't

  • Don't wash in hot water — it shrinks the outer fabric
  • Don't tumble dry, iron, or use a hair dryer
  • Don't use bleach, fabric softener, or heavily scented detergent
  • Don't submerge or soak overnight — it waterlogs the fill

How to give your plush a spa day

Most little messes only need a spot clean. For a deeper wash, follow these gentle steps.

1 Pre-treat any visible stains with a dab of gentle soap and a soft cloth.
2 Place your plush inside a mesh laundry bag to protect the stitching.
3 Wash on cold, delicate cycle with mild, fragrance-free detergent.
4 Press out excess water. Never wring — it can warp the shape.
5 Air dry flat on a towel. Reshape as it dries and brush the fur once dry.

"Our plush aren't toys. They're quiet witnesses — to first steps, long car rides, and every tucked-in night in between."

— the two of us, with love
